Gtting your FUEL LEVEL gauge to read accurate can be a daunting task in the JK/JKU. The factory didnt do us any favors when choosing the scale in the factory JK fuel level sender.
No off the shelf programmable gauge [ie autometer etc] has the scale range to match the stock JK scale. To get anything to match, you have to drop the tank and install an aftermarket sender into the tank. Yeah..no.
We worked with our gauge supplier and they created us a our own gauge that works specifically with the JK fuel sender scale. This is not the same gauge available anywhere as a click and buy now option.
One other feature with our RED ROCK FUEL Gauge is we make installing it super simple. Pop it your gague panel and wire the signal line to your signal circuit. Done. The gauge comes pre-programmed for the stock scale. We set the full and empty scale parameters here on the bench so you dont have to mess with either dropping your fuel tank or trying to run it empty, program, then fill it up and reprogram again.
The gauge comes standard in white face with black tics, red racing needle and a black bezel. The gauge numbers and tics glow green at night. Other custom colors and layouts are available, call for details.
